For installation follow this guideline: 

1. Turn on your device

2. Connect to the internet 

3. Use the browser to download the application: https://a.signageos.io/benq

Alternatively, download the application from this URL on your computer and copy it from the USB flash drive to the display:

https://1.signageos.io/app/android/2.5.6/io.signageos.android_benq.apk

 

4. Press  HOME button (house icon ) and click 1688

6. Go to the Security section

7. Enable Installing applications from unknown sources

8. Install the downloaded android application (you can upload it via USB and ES File Explorer)benq_provisioning_2.jpg

9. Restart your device 

 

Alternative instructions for the model SL5502K

 

1. Turn on your device

2. Connect to the internet 

3. Use the browser to download the application: https://a.signageos.io/benq

4. Press MENU, ↑ ↑ (2x arrow up) ↓ ↓ (2x arrow down) and press the  BACK button

5. Enable installation from unknown sources in Android Settings

6. Install the downloaded android application (you can upload it via USB and File Manager)

9. Restart your device

 

 

Once the device is on you can register

Additional Settings

The following settings are necessary for the safe operation of the device.

Recovery in case of power failure

Aby se displeje opětovně nastartovali v momentě, kdy dojde ke ztrátě elekřiny, je nezbytné nastavi Switch on state na volbu Force on.

  1. Press HOME button on your remote control. 
  2. Go to Configuration 1 and in the left menu press OK.
  3. Go to Switch on state and in the right menu press OK.
  4. Choose Force on and in the pop-up menu press OK.
  5. Press HOME button on your remote control. 

 

In Settings verify the app version:

  1. Press HOME button on your remote control and press 1688 

  2. Choose Settings

  3. Go to Apps

  4. Choose signageOS 

  5. The specified version of the application must be at least 2.5.6

 

ALWAYS turn on Kiosk mode again after installation or any intervention on the device

  1. Log into CMS and go to Screens -> Live monitoring section
  2. Choose android 
  3. The monitoring options will be displayed in a new window, select the function "Disable remote control / Enable kiosk" in the left column
