If you need to remotely correct an error or start maintenance operation with your display, you have a full range of features available. These functions can be found in the Live Monitoring section of the Screen section.
Once Monitoring is loaded, you can select one device and click to view its detail:
In detail you can find sections:
- SScreenshots from your device
- Basic information about the device, time zone, PIN, brightness, volume, etc.
- Set device-specific Timers
- Device connection history to the control server
- Remote Administration Actions Panel

The panel is on the left and contains the following actions:
Action | Description | Use |
Refresh content | Same as "F5" / refresh content in the browser. | If an unexpected playback error occurs or some (third-party) web content "hangs". |
Update content | Simulates the "Posting" action. | If the content is not updated once the post is published, or if some files are unavailable at the time of publication. Additional content is checked and missing files are downloaded. |
Restore saved content | Completely erase all data from the device and download it again. | In case of a fatal content error or as a service intervention after a Factory Reset or reinstallation of the application on the device. Use at least! |
Restart App | Restart the app that plays the content | If facing problems with connecting to the server, or when playback is getting stuck (mostly video). |
Restart the screen | Restart of complete device | As a preventive regular action or as a precaution in case of unclear equipment problems. |
Turn off the screen | Turn off the device display | |
Turn on the screen | Turn on the device display | |
Disable the remote control / turn on KIOSK | The IR receiver is turned off and KIOSK mode is turned on on the tablets. | To forbid manipulating the device with the remote control or, in the case of a tablet, entering the disabled menus. |
Enable the remote control / turn on the KIOSK | The IR receiver is turned on and KIOSK mode is turned on on the tablets. | To allow the device to be handled by the remote control during service or tablet access to system menus. |
Rotate portrait | To changes the content orientation to portrait view. | |
Rotate landscape | To change the content orientation to landscape view. | |
Rotate inverted to portrait | To change the content orientation to portrait, but rotated 180 °. | |
Rotate inverted to landscape | To change the content orientation to landscape, but rotated 180 °. | |
Automatic rotation | Enable image orientation based on gyro. | Only applicable to tablets. |
Smart portrait rotation | For special playback cases where videos are played in landscape but other content in portrait. | Only for LG webOS devices. |
You can also use these actions in bulk, just select and mark off the required devices within Monitoring and select the desired action from the menu at the bottom of the screen:
